Hans Sievertsson (Chairman of the Board)
Professor Hans Sievertsson obtained his PhD in 1972. He has held positions as Vice President and head of all R&D at Kabi, Vice President and General Manager at Bofors, President of Nobel Kemi AB, Group Vice President and Corporate Head of R&D at KabiPharmacia AB and Pharmacia AB and Vice President Corporate Development of Pharmacia Corporation. In 2001 Hans Sievertsson retired from Pharmacia Corp. when he reached the age of 60. He has also been Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Uppsala. He is the Chairman of SwedenBio and the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS). He also serves on the boards of Innate Pharmaceuticals AB (publ) and Catella Healthcare Investments AB.
Torben Jørgensen
Torben Jørgensen, currently CEO of Biotage AB, has 17 years executive management experience as CEO, CFO and Board member of several Life Science companies. Most recently he was CEO of the Swedish company Affibody and before that CEO of the publicly listed biotechnology company Karo Bio AB. Previously he was first CFO and then, for 9 years, CEO of Dako AS, a Danish antibody and diagnostics company.Torben Jørgensen earned his business degree from the Business School of Copenhagen.
Håkan Nelson
Håkan Nelson has been CEO of Malmöhus Invest, one of Swedens´ oldest venture capital companies, for the past 12 years. He has many years of experience as a Board member of several small and medium sized companies. He earned his Master´s degree in Economics from the University of Lund.
Mats Thorén
Mats Thorén is a Partner of Catella Healthcare. Before joining Catella Healthcare Mats Thorén was client responsible for the Swedish Healthcare Sector at Handelsbanken Capital Markets Corporate Finance, which he joined in August 2002. From 1999 until joining Handelsbanken he was a Biotech and Medtech equity analyst with Enskilda Securities. Prior to joining Enskilda, Mats Thorén worked for two years as an Oil & Gas equity analyst covering Russia out of Moscow for Alfred Berg. Mats Thorén was educated at the Stockholm School of Economics and the Karolinska Institute and also sits on the Board of Millicore AB.
Börje Sellergren (Chief Scientific Advisor)
Börje Sellergren holds a position as Associate Professor at the University of Dortmund where his research is focused on the synthesis and applications of molecularly imprinted polymers. He is a leading authority in the field of molecular imprinting with over 20 years experience. Prof. Sellergren has published over 60 articles and 17 reviews and books and is the editor of the most cited book in the field: "Molecularly Imprinted Polymers: Man made mimics of antibodies and their applications in analytical chemistry". He has contributed many of the inventions in molecular imprinting that form the basis of the company IP portfolio and his research group works closely with the company developing the technology.
