ExploraSep4Process plate

 

ExploraSep4Process is a unique collection of proprietary separation phases based on molecularly imprinted polymers and their non-imprinted homologs. Different types of monomer chemical functionality organized within the polymers via widely differing templates has allowed the definition of four different plate classes: A, U, H and C. In the A plate largely acidic monomer functionality is present; the U plate has proprietary neutral urea functionality; H plate targets hydrophobic capture and the C plate targets carbohydrates or diol containing molecules.

Features and Applications

ExploraSep4Process is intended to be used in a screening mode and for that purpose is supplied in a 96-well format. Screening with ExploraSep will allow rapid identification of selective separation candidates. The ExploraSep product is delivered together with detailed discovery user guidelines. MIP Technologies' specialist support via a dedicated email is available at any stage of the screening. Candidate polymers identified during the screening stage can be ordered separately for confirmation studies and can then be transferred to preparative or process scale via a scale-up development stage allowing straightforward process development.

Format and quantities

The ExploraSep4Process phases are packed in 96-well plates (40 mg/well). The materials are spherical with an average particle size of 50-65 µm. ExploraSep plates are delivered together with a data sheet and User Instructions. After screening, individual phases can be supplied in larger quantities. Different particle sizes can be obtained as custom products on request.
