Anthony Rees (Chief Executive Officer)
Anthony Rees took over as CEO in March 2004. He was previously Scientific Director at the French Biotech company Synt:em and before that Head of the School of Biology & Biochemistry at the University of Bath, UK. He was on the Faculty of Oxford University from 1980-1990 from where he obtained his doctorate, and in 1989 was scientific co-founder of the software company, Oxford Molecular plc, which went public in 1994 and was later the subject of a trade sale. He is a founder Board member of Sulis Innovation (UK) and is a non-Executive Director of a US public company.

Christine Widstrand (Chief Operating Officer)
Christine Widstrand was CEO of MIP Technologies AB until early 2004. She has several years of experience of operational management, has won several prices for her entrepreneurial skill and was scientific co-founder of several biotech companies. In 1998 she received her PhD in analytical chemistry from Lund University and has over 14 years of research experience, with special interest in molecularly imprinted polymers and biosensors.

Ecevit Yilmaz (Chief Technology Officer)
After a Master´s degree in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), he conducted his PhD studies at the Lund Institute of Technology (Sweden) in the area of Molecularly Imprinted Polymers. He has over 10 years experience in the fields of imprinted polymers and separation materials and joined MIP Technologies in 2003.

Ola Karlsson (Vice President for Production)
Ola Karlsson joined January 2006 as responsible for production, process development and environmental issues. He came from Celanese Emulsions, Frankfurt where he was a R&D Manager with global responsibilities for binder development in the area of coatings. Prior to that he was a R&D manager at Celanese Emulsions Norden AB where he worked with polymer dispersions development and scaling up to process scale. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Technology at Lund University 1997 and as an industrialist, he has maintained an academic career with an interest in polymers and became 2003 associate professor in Polymer Science and Engineering at Lund University.

Olof Svensson (Financial controller)
Olof Svensson was employed March 2006 as head of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. He previously worked at Swedish Meats for 13 years in different positions and has a total of 21 years of experience in economics and administrative positions. Olof is a Graduate Business Administrator from the University of Lund.
