Removal of Pesticides From Citrus Oils Using RENSA® 101

RENSA® 101 polymer resin can be used for compounds able to reversibly interact with the bound silver ligand (silver ion chromatography or argentation chromatography). Typical examples are unsaturated and also aromatic compounds such as fatty acids or lipids under non-aqueous conditions. The material is also able to function as a selective ligand for certain compound types such as different organophosphorus pesticides (and some other classes of pesticides) in citrus oils and other hydrophobic oils and matrices.
