Welcome.

Welcome to the first issue of MIP Technologies Newsletter 2007.

We are happy to announce that in November 2006 we signed an exclusive distribution and development agreement with Supelco, a division of Sigma-Aldrich. As a result of this relationship our MIP[4]SPE™ product line will now be sold under the trade name SupelMIP™. Our web-shop has closed down and all SupelMIP products can now be ordered on-line from Sigma-Aldrich's web-site, www.sigmaaldrich.com/supelmip or by contacting your local Sigma-Aldrich representative.

We have also expanded our production capability and are now able to offer our customers up to 10 kg quantities of MIPs in single batch reactors. To ensure high reproducibility of our products we work according to ISO 9001:2000. For larger quantities, 100 kg and above, MIP Technologies has relationships with ISO and GMP certified polymer producers to serve your needs.

I hope you will enjoy the reading!

Process level production for chemical, pharma, food and environmental industries

MIP Technologies now has the ability to produce multi-kilogram (up to 10 kg) quantities of MIPs in single batch reactors. These quantities enable our customers to do studies at the pilot scale. To ensure high reproducibility of our products we work according to ISO 9001:2000. For larger quantities, 100 kg and above, MIP Technologies has relationships with ISO and GMP certified polymer producers to serve your needs.

A new improved robust method for the selective extraction of NNAL

MIP Technologies has developed a new more robust extraction method for the selective extraction of NNAL using SupelMIP™ NNAL. With this new method higher flow rates can be used for all extraction steps. The flow rate for the elution step was previously only 0.2 mL/min but with the new improved method up to 1 mL/min can be used without any decrease in recovery. Furthermore the recovery has increased and is now at or close to 100% and reproducible. The use of the SupelMIP™ NNAL product improves the sample throughput significantly by reducing and omitting several purification steps in the clean-up of NNAL. There is no need for any pre-treatment of the urine samples. Samples can be loaded directly on the SupelMIP™ cartridge. The limit of detection is at 5 pg/ml and ion suppression is minimized.
