OPUS HLB 115
- a hydrophilic-lipophilic balanced polymer phase optimized for efficient capture of small molecules from aqueous solutionPolymer Features
OPUS HLB115 spherical particles are produced by a novel and patented particle synthesis technology. They exhibit a bead architecture whose porosity and distribution of hydrophobic and hydrophilic moieties are engineered to enhance capture of molecules from the liquid phase. The altered ‘wettability’ of HLB115 is a signature characteristic that distinguishes this phase from other similar phases.
Separation performance
OPUS HLB115 phase can be used for a broad range of acidic, basic and neutral compounds and has been demonstrated to extract both hydrophilic and hydrophobic compounds with excellent recoveries. The engineered hydrophobic-hydrophilic gradient of HLB115 enables the effective capture of compounds with a wide range of log p values from aqueous environments.
